Remember the 2026 Nissan Z from our long-time customer?
Here's the finished project! 🔥

This one was built from the ground up using all Alpine USA gear, featuring a fully active front stage, dual 12-inch Alpine subwoofers, multiple amplifiers, and a GarminAudio DSP to dial everything in for incredible sound quality.

The real showpiece, though, is the custom hatch area. We fabricated the rear trim to mimic the Z's signature front grille and taillight design, added subtle blue LED accent lighting, and color-matched everything to the factory aluminum strut brace for a finish that looks like it could have rolled off the Nissan assembly line.

Clean. Functional. Factory-inspired.

A huge thank you to our customer for trusting us once again. After more than 30 years and 13 vehicles together, we're still honored every time the keys land on our counter, especially when we're given the creative freedom to build something unique.

There are customers... and then there are customers who've been with you for decades.

For nearly 30 years, this customer has trusted Kimball's Audio & Interiors with every new vehicle that has found its way into their driveway. Today, we're excited to have the latest addition in the shop—a 2026 Nissan Z.

We've had the privilege of working on 13 of their vehicles over the years, and that kind of trust is something we never take for granted.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your automotive journey for all these years. We can't wait to show you what we have planned for this one.

This F-150 came in ready for a serious tech upgrade.

✅ RDVFL 15-inch touchscreen upgrade
✅ Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
✅ Custom amp rack installation
✅ Added amplifier and subwoofer for stronger, cleaner bass

The factory 4-inch screen is gone, replaced with a massive 15-inch display that completely modernizes the dash while adding all the connectivity features drivers want.

To round it out, we added a subwoofer and amplifier mounted cleanly on one of our custom amp racks, delivering the low-end performance the factory system simply can't match.

Clean install. Factory-style fit and finish. Huge improvement in both sound and functionality.

🔥 Ford Mustang Dark Horse Audio Upgrade 🔥
This Dark Horse was already a beast with its supercharged power. Our job was making sure the audio system could keep up.
✔️ Helix V Eight DSP amplifier
✔️ Brax, Helix, Match by Audiotec Fischer UP1FX amplifier
✔️ Helix CI5 active front stage
✔️ Helix CI3 rear speakers
✔️ Helix IK Slim 10" subwoofer in the factory enclosure
✔️ Stinger AmpPRO integration
✔️ SoundSkins Global sound deadening throughout

We modified the factory sub enclosure to accommodate the Helix 10" sub and mounted the amplifiers cleanly in the spare tire well, maintaining an OEM appearance while delivering exceptional sound quality.

Fast. Loud. Clean. Just the way a Dark Horse should be.

Not every customer walks in looking for a competition build.

This Sierra owner wanted something that sounded significantly better than stock while keeping the truck looking clean and completely functional.

✅ Alpine USA 4-channel amplifier powering a full set of Alpine mids and highs

✅ Alpine 1200-watt mono amplifier driving two Alpine shallow-mount 10" subwoofers

✅ Custom-built under-seat enclosure designed specifically for 2019-2025 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra crew cab trucks

✅ Stinger Electronics AmpPRO integration module for a clean signal while retaining factory functionality

✅ Custom amp rack mounted to the rear cab wall using factory mounting locations — no screws through the back wall of the truck

As with all of our builds, the goal was simple: maximize performance while keeping everything serviceable, secure, and looking like it belongs there from the factory.

The result?

Crisp highs, detailed midrange, tight bass, and plenty of output without giving up storage space or the truck's everyday usability.

At Kimball's Audio and Interiors, the best installs are often the ones you don't notice, until you turn the volume up.
