Spent the past few days at the 2026 Inside Self-Storage World Expo in Las Vegas.

A lot of focus this year on automation, access control, and ways to operate facilities more efficiently without sacrificing the customer experience.

AI came up constantly in the seminar sessions, but interestingly, it wasn’t nearly as visible on the show floor. Still feels like something the industry is actively trying to define in practical terms.

Some interesting conversations around how operators are thinking about growth, especially in competitive markets where pricing, convenience, and service all have to work together.

Looking forward to bringing some of these ideas back into what we’re doing with StorageBlue.

We had the opportunity to visit the Betsey Johnson pop-up at Shopify NY, a great example of how a strong brand translates seamlessly from physical retail into a digital commerce experience.

From the visual identity to the in-person activation, everything felt cohesive, memorable, and distinctly Betsey.

As a Shopify Partner, we work with fashion and lifestyle brands to bring that same level of clarity and consistency to their ecommerce platforms, ensuring the online experience reflects the brand just as strongly as it does in person.

Experiences like this are a great reminder that successful ecommerce starts with a clear point of view and a well-executed brand.

We had the opportunity to attend "The Man Who Would Be King" at Theatre at St. Luke’s in New York City, a limited-run professional AEA showcase production featuring music by Neil Berg.

We’ve worked closely with Neil on his website design and digital presence, and it’s always rewarding to see that work connected to projects on stage.

Productions like this highlight how important it is for artists and creators to have a strong, well-built digital platform to showcase their work and reach new audiences.

Congratulations to the staff and board at Highland Park Public Library on the reopening of their newly-renovated library building. The new library offers patrons beautifully redesigned spaces, 21 new Dell PCs for public use, a fast and expanded Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi network, and a state-of-the-art media room for presentations. The Frog & Peach Theatre Company has released the show poster for their upcoming production of Shakespeare's epic tragedy, "King Lear". It's our first time being included on a theatrical poster, as part of an extremely talented cast and creative team. "King Lear" runs January 26-February 18 at Theatre At St. Clements (423 W. 46th Street, NYC) and features the cinematic pace and thrilling performances that has made Frog & Peach Theatre Company one of New York's most respected Shakespearean ensembles.
