Almost 50% of thefts in San Francisco involve cell phones, and in NYC iPhones account for 14% of ALL crimes. Especially if you're using public transit, beware of sn**ch and grabs, and know your surroundings.

Did you guys see the article in the Washington Post this weekend about the 48% increase in mobile device theft on the DC metro? Like the article says, you wouldn't walk around with $400 in cash, so use caution when doing so with your mobile. Or, loop it!
