🥳 A Major Update and a Heartfelt Thank You! Firmware 4.0.0 and App 2.0.0 are officially here. 🙌
Before sharing what's new, we want to sincerely thank you for your patience and apologize that this update took longer than we originally hoped. We know many of you have been looking forward to these features, and we truly appreciate you staying with us, continuing to share your experiences, and giving us the time needed to complete this important work.
Over the past several months, our engineering team has been maintaining and improving the existing system while rebuilding the entire software architecture from the ground up. It became a much larger undertaking than originally anticipated, but we believed it was necessary to create a more stable foundation for the Popur S7 and the features still to come.
Today, we're grateful to finally share the result with you. This update introduces:
🐱 Individual Pet Data: Create profiles for multiple cats and track each cat's visits, stay duration, weight, and recent activity.
⚙️ Smarter Controls: Personalize cleaning behavior, operating speed, pet detection, sensor calibration, and more.
🗑 Bin Monitoring: Adjust bin capacity based on your household and litter type for more personalized fullness estimates.
🔧 Self-check Diagnostics: Identify potential issues more easily and access the appropriate troubleshooting guidance.
📊 Better Logs, Notifications & Synchronization: View more detailed activity records and enjoy more reliable communication between your S7, the App, and the cloud.
⚠️ Before You Update: Firmware 4.0.0 and App 2.0.0 must be used together. We recommend updating the firmware first, followed by the App. After both updates are installed, your S7 will perform a one-time structural reset. You'll then need to:
• Re-add your Popur S7 in the App
• Remove the old disconnected device
• Reconfigure your preferred settings
We understand that this creates a few extra steps, and we're sorry for the additional inconvenience. This one-time reset is necessary to activate the new system architecture, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.
