Boomerang -
This recreation of the model Boomerang manufactured by Vekoma was made to be as close to the real thing as possible. After many hours of tweaks to the ride mechanics and to the shaping of the track a photo-realistic recreation emerged.
When Peak Amusements recreates a ride there normally strikes a balance between the level of detail needed depending on if it’s an object of focus or if it’s a distant object.

With Boomerang we had the pleasure of creating as much detail as possible. As with our other models we can now make quick work of importing this to future projects reducing the time needed to complete certain qualifying projects.

When Valleyfair! was being recreated by Joe Hoye Peak Amusements offered to help in certain areas. Valleyfair! was a highly detailed recreation that constructed the full amusement park within the NoLimits 2 Simulator. To this day it remains one of the most impressive projects within NoLimits 2’s history.

Peak’s involvement was critical in some areas and minor in others. Some of the more crucial details were the completion of Steel Venom. Steel Venom required unique friction settings and exact profiling to perform properly. The end result was a successful shot for shot remake of the ride. Peak Amusements also assisted the recreation with custom textures for trains and other items, as well as custom objects to match their real life counterparts.

Venom - Venom was a project made for the NoLimits 2 official release version 2.2.0.0, which introduced the Infinity Coaster as a new coaster style. Ole Lange (Creator of NoLimits 2) reached out to Seth Parsons, CEO – Founder, two days before they planned to release this update.

With only little time to consider the possibilities of what could be done, Seth decided to take inspiration structurally and profile wise from the then-recently under construction Schwur des Kärnan at Hansa Park.
The ride experience begins with a heartline roll within a cylindrical tunnel right out of the station. From there a vertical lift takes riders higher and higher until it crests into the beyond vertical drop. The rest of the ride has tall inversions, low flying turns and plenty of unique elements.

Storm Valley - The concept for Storm Valley was to create a thematic land, suitable for a large scale theme park attraction, that could be handled by as few manufacturers as possible. For the roller coaster installations, the choice was Gerstlauer, who offer fantastic value and variety for a moderate budget.

Flat rides were to be sourced from Huss Rides for similar reasons. Soon a theme was created, a valley of never-ending storms. Each attraction style had its own characteristics to build up this immersive land. During development, the project was seen by the NoLimits Rollercoaster Simulator development team and subsequently acquired for integration into the base software.

Hello all of our followers!

In 2017 we restructured the way we do things to become more efficient and effective in what we do. Today I'm proud to announce our new website AS WELL as one of our recent projects. We recently worked with Middlesex University in London to create a virtual experience on their experimental motion simulator! Check out the video below!

Valhall was a project made for the NoLimits 2 official release version 2.1.0.0, which introduced Wing Coasters as a new coaster style. The specific requirements were pretty simple: Have a Wing Coaster, test the trains to see if they function properly and test the new magnetic trim brakes. With just under a week to complete the park for the new release Seth (CEO - Founder) began to work and pointed out issues experienced to the developers.

The render itself contains two roller coasters. One is a Stand-Up Coaster (Avenger) and the other is a Wing Coaster (Blackbird). The two rides were designed to duel with each other in many areas of the track and both contain unique rider experiences with their custom tracks. The rides compliment each other well and are designed to be visually stunning during all times of the day.

In 2014, Seth Parsons (CEO - Founder) began working on a project that took inspiration from the Intamin AG hydraulic launched coaster SPEED MONSTER. The design of the ride was taken as if Intamin was to make another ride similar to it but with a more modern layout. Fenrir utilizes a new LSM launch system reducing the technical issues experienced in comparison to a hydraulic launch system. After the launch riders are sent through a winding course that traverses through a heavily wooded valley, making passes near water, boulders, trees and the track itself.

Later after the completion of the project, Seth was reached out to by Ole Lange (Creator of NoLimits 2) and was asked if Fenrir could be used within the software. Seth agreed and began his relationship with the developers of the NoLimits 2 Roller Coaster Simulation software. Since then he has released many projects that are now available within the simulator itself without any additional download necessary.

Originally made for the project Valhall, Blackbird is a Wing Coaster that utilizes the position of the riders to increase the thrill of each element. This separate project was edited and finished at the request of Middlesex University in London for use on their experimental VR motion simulator.

The ride itself is somewhat compact and uses every bit of space it can get. Originally designed to weave in and out of an additional roller coaster, Blackbird on its own seemed a little bare before the extra landscape changes took place. We changed the pathing and the scenery around to populate the empty area and brought in some extra lighting to make nighttime rides much more enticing. After the trial run done by Middlesex University at one of their events feedback on our ride was overwhelmingly positive.
