Key Responsibilities —

* Identify and prioritize developments based on business relevance, risk, and strategic importance
* Produce timely, concise memos summarizing new laws, regulatory changes, and emerging policy issues
* Provide regular, real-time updates to the Director of Government Relations on key developments and trends
* Serve as an early-warning system by proactively flagging issues before they escalate

* Support vendor procurement by reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and assessing legal and compliance risks associated with vendor agreements and commercial contracts

* Prepare documentation and supporting materials for audits, regulatory inquiries, internal investigations, and other legal and compliance initiatives

Qualifications and Education Requirements —

* Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent degree with active bar membership in good standing preferred
* 7+ years of experience in anti-money laundering (AML), financial crimes compliance, regulatory compliance, or a related legal function
* Extensive knowledge of BSA, AML/KYC, OFAC (U.S. and international), card brand requirements, the Digital Services Act, and other applicable regulatory frameworks
* Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, banking law, privacy law, and regulatory compliance
