Zornicare is now an approved Electronic Attendance System (EAS) with the Washington State Department of Children, Youth & Families. That means childcare providers can use Zornicare to track subsidy attendance in a way that meets the state's requirements.

For providers receiving Working Connections Child Care (WCCC) subsidies, electronic attendance tracking is required — and Zornicare is now on the state's approved list. 📍Child Care Costs in 2025 — Where Does Your State Rank?

This new map shows how much families are spending on center-based child care across the U.S., and the numbers are eye-opening. In some states, child care takes up more than 13% of a married couple’s income.

🌴 Hawaii has the highest cost at 13.5%, while South Dakota is the lowest at 6.7%. Washington, California, and New York are all above 12%.

As parents ourselves, we know how important it is to feel confident about where your child spends their day—and how stressful it can be when the cost of care keeps climbing.
