We still have Spain on the brain! Seattle Opera's production of Carmen inspired this year's Big Opera Party Gala, celebrating the passion, color, and spirit of Spain—with a special nod to the iconic bull and matador.

Inspired by the vibrant energy of the San Fermín Festival, the stunning Carmen stage design, and the beautiful event visuals created by , we were thrilled to collaborate on the print and signage design—providing a little show-stopping support along the way.

BLUE INK is proud to have received two awards at ILEA Seattle’s Emerald City Applause Awards — Best Event Marketing and Best Event Support Services.

These honors reflect our creative collaboration with and on the “Big Opera Gala,” a project that brought bold ideas to life through thoughtful creative design and ex*****on.

In support of the ECAAs event, we sponsored with event branding, logo design, program, digital promotions, and a full suite of printed event signage — from wall wraps and table details to a statement-making dance floor decal.

✈️ Still soaring from this incredible journey with @seattleopera and ! This immersive event took guests on a first-class ride through a fully reimagined vintage airport experience — every detail designed to transport and delight.

From a life-sized plane at the entrance to a full jetway-inspired hallway, this was branding taken to cruising altitude.

🎟️ Highlights included:
• A custom-built 20' airplane with "Opera Air" branding
• Vintage-inspired redesign of the SeaTac Airport logo
• “Now Boarding” & “Departures” signage + branded bar fronts
• A custom cocktail wall worthy of the first-class lounge
• Snack bag decals and themed service touches
• A full-size airplane door with a pilot cockpit backdrop
• A hallway transformed into the interior of a jet — seats, windows, walls and all

Every detail was imagined, produced, and executed to perfection — a true flight of creative imagination.

Whether it’s a giant grinning Cheshire Cat DJ booth spilling onto a psychedelic 16-foot dance floor, an oversized keyhole entrance framed by the White Rabbit and Alice’s striped legs, or card soldiers caught painting the roses red in a custom photobooth setting — we don’t just create visuals, we craft immersive experiences.
