folding bones press folding bones press is one woman creating handmade, letterpress printed goods. foldingbonespress.com in 2019 the studio relocated to sebastopol.

folding bones press was founded in 2012 by katie nealon and is located in northern california. in 2014 folding bones press made its permanent home on mendocino avenue in santa rosa. katie has been binding and making books for over a decade. in 2009 she began laying type and letterpress printing at the cowell press at uc santa cruz. in addition to printing and bookmaking, katie is a published poet

and 2011 pushcart prize nominee. she has worked as an editor, writer, photographer, and as an intern at the 826 valencia writing center in san francisco. katie is a former member of the iota press co-op and past president of north bay letterpress arts. if you are interested in collaborations or commissions, feel free to contact her.
