$400 for a diagnostic 😱?! Not at Nerds! We offer $33 diagnostics when you drop off your machine at our location in Sebastopol. There is a 48 hour turn around window but you can rest assured we won't do anything extra or add any extra fees without consulting you.

IMPORTANT! 📢 DO NOT CALL THE NUMBERS ON POP-UPS 📢 These phishing scams are becoming more and more sophisticated and prevalent. We receive upwards of 1-2 calls a week from individuals who have called these numbers and it seems to be increasing. If you HAVE called, went through the process of giving these scammers access to your computer and fear your computer may have been hacked, give us a call for a remote desktop appointment so we can check to make sure there's no uploaded program. If the pop-ups continue, we can also help you out to remove them so you can rest assured that your computer and precious personal data can remain safe. When in doubt, call a Nerd!

Hello, My name is Mathew Lustig.
I work at Nerds as an I.T. service technician. I am the resident Apple specialist, but also work with Windows PCs, Android phones, general electronics and many other devices.

Much Like John, I also grew up tinkering with computers and electronics. After high school I took a job as a technician at Best Buy. While I liked having regular work fixing computers, I didn't like the focus on retail sales over customer service. I wanted the freedom to assist my clients in the way I felt would best accommodate them, not to pressure them into buying the products and services which provide the best profit margins for Best Buy.

I met John in high school. Sharing interests in computers, gaming and many things tech – we soon become good friends. When he came up with the idea to start Nerds, he suggested that we consolidate our knowledge and efforts to provide a better option for people who have tried the Geek Squads and the Apple Cares and left dissatisfied with the service they'd received.

If I'm privileged with the opportunity to assist you, I hope to provide honest, personal and reasonable solutions for your technological needs. If that sounds like the quality of service you're looking for, then I'm confident you've arrived at the right place to get it.

Wow! Check this out: A new program in SoCo to provide free internet services to low-income households via Sonoma County Economic Development Board.

"Under the program, eligible households can receive up to $30 per month toward internet service, while households on qualifying Tribal lands can receive up to $75 per month. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price."

The Sonoma County Economic Development Board has been awarded $300,000 from the Federal Communications Commission to expand local enrollment in the FCC’s Affordable Connectivity Program, which provides free and discounted internet service to low-income households.
