Winter Weather Advisory
At Net Doctors of Seneca, we know winter weather can be unpredictable, and the next 24–36 hours will be no exception for Northeast Alabama, North Georgia, Upstate South Carolina, and Western North Carolina. Some form of winter precipitation is expected—so let’s break down why forecasting it can be so tricky.
The difference between ❄️ snow, 🌧️ rain, and 🧊 ice often depends on small changes in timing and temperature in the lowest layers of the atmosphere. These factors can vary even across short distances, making accurate predictions a challenge.
When the 🌡️ hovers between 28° and 35°F, a wintry mix is likely. And believe it or not, just 1️⃣ degree can determine whether we get:
A) Rain
😎 Sleet
C) Snow
D) All of the Above
