⚠️ SPC Tech Alert

A quick heads up for everyone... especially my parents’ generation and older folks in our area.

There are a lot of services popping up that claim they can “remove your information from the internet” or “stop spam calls” for a monthly fee.

Here’s the honest truth:

Most of these services are just submitting requests to data broker websites. Something that CAN be done for free, but takes time and patience.

What it DOES NOT do...
• Completely remove you from the internet
• Stop all spam calls
• Protect you forever
And in many cases, you’re actually giving another company your personal information (name, phone number, address, SSN (cloaked)) to do it.

I’m not saying they’re scams; some do help... but they’re not magic, and they’re not necessary for most people.

If you’re dealing with spam calls or privacy concerns, feel free to reach out. I’ll always point you in the right direction (even if it doesn’t cost you anything).
