The Shelby CarvePrize Festival open-air gallery officially started today! From May through July, stop by downtown Shelby and vote for your favorite entry.

To vote, you'll need to register first: https://www.shelbycarveprize.com/vote/

During registration, you’ll need to verify you're in the Village of Shelby.

- Tap “Check My Location” to verify you're in Shelby.
- Fill out the quick registration form.
- Confirm your email, check your inbox for a link.

Once registered, you can log in from anywhere to vote daily for up to 3 of your favorite entries.

Be sure to stop by, there are some amazing pieces!

We launched the new site for the Shelby CarvePrize Festival, a open-art gallery, and carving competition in the Village of Shelby, MI.

Beyond the design, we launched with a custom voting system with: geo-fenced voter registration, email confirmation, a daily multi-pick ballot, a live leaderboard, and a full admin dashboard for the festival team to manage voters, entries, and results in real time.

Off the shelf options didn't cut it, so we built around the Festival’s needs.

Shelby will be transformed into an open-air gallery of chainsaw-carved sculptures by artists from across Michigan.

A big focus for this project was accessibility. Built to meet WCAG 2.1 guidelines so everyone in the community can access the resources they need.
