I am incredibly honored and grateful to have completed the 3-Day Veteran Institute for Procurement (VIP) Training, sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), held at the beautiful Bolger Center in Potomac, MD.
This experience was more than just training—it was intensive, eye-opening, and transformational.
Over these three days, I gained:
✔️ A deeper understanding of federal government contracting
✔️ Clarity on what I didn’t know (those real ah-ha moments)
✔️ Insight into areas where I need to improve, strengthen, and refine
✔️ A roadmap of what I need to fix, build, and implement to be fully ready
There were powerful discussions, excellent questions, and shared experiences from fellow veteran entrepreneurs that truly elevated the learning environment.
What stood out the most?
👉 Realizing that preparation at this level requires precision, structure, compliance, and strategy—not just passion.
This training challenged me, stretched me, and confirmed that I am on the right path—but also showed me the next level I must rise to.

Here’s how to silence or screen unknown callers on your iPhone in just a few simple steps 👇
📱 How to Silence Unknown & Spam Callers on iPhone
1️⃣ Open your Settings app
(That gray gear icon ⚙️)
2️⃣ Scroll all the way down and tap Apps
(Yes, keep scrolling — it’s near the bottom)
3️⃣ Scroll down again and tap Phone
(This controls all your call settings)
4️⃣ Look for Silence Unknown Callers
🔹 If you see “Silence Unknown Callers”, turn the switch ON
🔹 If you’ve updated to the newest iOS, it may now be called “Screen Calls”
5️⃣ Turn it ON
✔️ Unknown numbers will be silenced
✔️ Calls go straight to voicemail
✔️ You’ll still see them listed in Recent Calls
🔔 Important to Know
Calls from people in your Contacts, recent outgoing calls, or Siri suggestions will still ring
This does NOT block the caller — it simply protects your peace

Important Notification: Windows 10 End-of-Life and Upgrade to Windows 11. As of October 14, Windows 10 will no longer be supported, and upgrading to Windows 11 will be mandatory. You can enroll in an extension, but this must be done prior to October 14. What are the implications of this change? If your operating system is not supported or properly managed by an IT specialist and cybersecurity provider, it will become highly vulnerable to various attacks. Certain system requirements must be met before upgrading. We recommend contacting your IT and cybersecurity provider as soon as possible to ensure a seamless upgrade and future-proof your system.

FBI Cyber Division Alert: threat actors are compromising Salesforce environments to steal data and extort victims. Techniques include vishing calls to help desks, malicious connected apps which bypass MFA, and stolen OAuth tokens from integrations such as Drift.

Organizations using Salesforce should review the advisory, audit connected apps, rotate tokens if needed, enforce phishing-resistant MFA, and train call center teams.

🚨 SCAM ALERT: Protect Yourself & Loved Ones! 🚨
📱⚠️ A NEW APPLE PAY & PAYPAL SCAM IS MAKING ROUNDS!

Scammers are now texting people’s phones claiming “Your Apple Pay has been charged.” 📲
Shortly after, they send a fake PayPal invoice to your email 📧 and urge you to call a toll-free number.

‼️ Here’s the real DANGER: Once you call, the person on the other end pressures you to download an app called LoginMe or Remote Access Software to “fix the problem.”

👉 DON’T DO IT. STOP RIGHT THERE.

These are tricks to take control of your device and steal your personal info, money, and identity.

🛡️ Here’s what to do instead:
1️⃣ Do NOT click or call.
2️⃣ Delete the message.
3️⃣ Mark the email as JUNK or PHISHING.
4️⃣ Report the scam to PayPal and Apple.
5️⃣ Tell your family and friends – especially elders and youth – so they don’t fall for it.

💻 You NEVER have to give control of your device to anyone unless you personally know and trust them.
🔒 Apple and PayPal will NEVER ask you to install third-party apps to resolve issues.
