Not every comfortable platform is the right one. And not every solution calling itself private-label actually is.
There's a difference between a platform that lets you upload your logo and one that lets you own the entire auction experience - your brand, your formats, your buyer relationships, your data.
Most auctioneers stay where they are because switching feels like a risk. But staying in a system that caps your growth, dilutes your brand, and shares your bidders with competitors - that's the bigger risk.
The right platform should feel like yours from day one. Your buyers should see your name - not someone else's. Your auction formats should match how you actually sell - not how the software says you should.
Your settlements, your buyer premiums, your operational workflow - all of it should answer to your business, not the other way around.
That's what "right" looks like. Not just private-label in name - but private-label in every interaction your buyer has with your auction.
If that's not what you have today, maybe today is the day to rethink where you are.
