Executing a custom project like this in a home built in 1900 isn't about one big decision. It's about thousands of tiny decisions that result in an outcome built to last.

Site visit. Measure. More measurements. More conversations. Back to the software. Another site visit. Measure again. Final 3D render. Quote. Revise. Contract. Collect deposit.

Order cabinets. Finalize paint color. Hardware color. Which LED? How much light? What color temperature? How big does the driver need to be? What gauge wire? Which aluminum LED channel? Order the channel. Receive the channel. This channel feels cheap. Order a better one. Pick the acoustic panel finish. Order hardware. Order LED components. New channel arrives. Perfect. Pick up paint. Hardware is backordered. Find another supplier. Track shipments. Shipping delay. Reschedule. Coordinate. Confirm.

Arrive. Protect the floors. Unload. Carefully remove original 127-year-old trim details that need to be reinstalled. No pressure. Dry fit. Adjust. Scribe. Sand. Install. Wire. Program. Test. Fine tune. Vacuum. Client walkthrough. Reveal. Hug each other.

The finished project feels effortless.

It isn't.

It's the result of thousands of tiny decisions, made one at a time, so the final result feels like it was always meant to be there.

“Extensive” project. Extensive pre-wire. Apparently, an extensive commitment to the word extensive. 😂

For this new construction home, VHS is handling the complete technology scope from start to finish, including system design, structured cabling, pre-wire, equipment installation, programming, and final setup.

Building something big? Bring us in early. We’ll make sure the technology is designed into the home, not added as an afterthought.

For this project we:
• Installed a full UniFi G5 Turret camera system
• Added a new UniFi Doorbell
• Replaced aging WiFi access points & switch
• Cleaned up the network by installing a wall-mounted rack for a professional finish

The result is a cleaner installation, stronger WiFi, and a camera system that's built to perform for years to come.

A great golf simulator starts with the room itself.

This client already had a simulator in their unfinished basement, but the space had a lot more potential. Our goal is to elevate the entire experience with a fully custom VHS package that includes a new enclosure, padded panels, custom lighting, dedicated bag storage, and a complete technology upgrade with a new PC, launch monitor, and projector.

This first phase is all about layout, framing, and creating separation between the dedicated simulator area and the new storage space.

The finished product will feel less like a basement setup and more like a true indoor golf experience.

Every great smart home starts with infrastructure.

We designed and installed the complete technology package for this new construction home, from the structured cabling behind the walls to the systems the homeowners interact with every day. The main house includes a UniFi network, whole-home Sonos audio, security cameras, media room, TVs, and more.

Now it's time for phase two.

We're extending that same experience to the outdoor living space with dedicated outdoor WiFi, security cameras, and a professionally designed landscape audio system that will provide seamless coverage throughout the backyard.
