Two more cuties

Sewing has been such a fun and rewarding journey! I absolutely love the feeling of completing a project I can be proud of—like these two cuties right here. But if you’ve been following my stories, you know it hasn’t all been smooth sailing. Just the other day, I was trying to make coasters and couldn’t sew a straight line to save my life! And don’t get me started on the necktie I’ve been working on—it’s been a real challenge to get it just right.
Still, I’m determined to keep going, no matter how defeated I might feel at times. When the vision in my head doesn’t quite come together, it’s tempting to feel like I’ve failed. But instead of giving up, I’ve found a way to keep moving forward. Every time I hit a roadblock, I make another pouch, adding a new element or technique to it. This way, I’m still challenging myself and learning, but I’m also giving myself the grace to embrace the process and accept that mastery takes time.
