CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old. Fair Information Practices

The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect personal information. In order to be in line with Fair Information Practices we will take the following responsive action, should a data breach occur:
We will notify you via email
• Within 7 business days

We also agree to the Individual Redress Principle which requires that individuals have the right to legally pursue enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. This principle requires not only that individuals have enforceable rights against data users, but also that individuals have recourse to courts or government agencies to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors. Watched a webinar called, "Terrifying Technology Tales" that covered recent malware and and ransomware attacks that happened this year. It's harder to defend against these things than it is to be the attacker. To attack you only have to find one c***k in the armor. To be on the defense you need to find and remediate them all.

Having a great time with my new Red Firewalla firewall. There are so many controls and things to do with it. It is monitoring my network traffic, up-loads and down-loads and it is collecting alerts and stats. Here is a picture of the dashboard that I use on my phone. I can see what's going on without having to be at home or in front of a computer. I like that. Have you ordered yours yet? Here's the link again for you to go and look at their website and other models without having to find my previous post: https://bit.ly/3vrKcKN

Update: Red Firewalla was a breeze to get setup. The instructions and diagrams on their website are beautiful works of art. Clear explanations and awesome pictures / diagrams. I plugged in the device to my router and to power. Downloaded the app to my phone. The Firewalla paired without a hitch. It took about five minutes to get itself all set up and working. Piece of cake! 😎

Sometimes, I've noticed that only the account that installs an application can make changes to the core configs of that app. This is not so much true with end user utilities but rather server apps.
