👋 Hey everyone!
Microsoft will end support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. After that date Microsoft will no longer provide security updates, bug fixes, or technical assistance for Windows 10 devices. Running Windows 10 after end of support leaves systems exposed to newly discovered vulnerabilities and cyberattacks.
Upgrading to Windows 11 is the best way to stay protected. A supported operating system receives regular security patches and benefit from newer built-in protections designed to reduce the risk of ransomware, phishing, and other threats. If your PC meets the hardware requirements, Windows 11 is the recommended path to continued security updates and feature support.
Before you upgrade, you should confirm your device meets Windows 11 minimum requirements (processor, RAM, storage, Secure Boot, TPM 2.0, etc.). Microsoft’s official requirements explain the CPU and TPM expectations and how to verify them. If TPM 2.0 or Secure Boot is disabled, many systems can enable those features in firmware (BIOS/UEFI) — but this can vary by device.
If a device cannot be upgraded, there are a few paths:
Purchase a new Windows 11–compatible PC (often the simplest for old devices).
Enroll in Microsoft’s Extended Security Updates (ESU) where available (short-term option for businesses).
Migrate critical workloads to a supported environment or consider alternatives like managed Linux deployments for specialized cases.
What NetSioux recommends (step-by-step):
Inventory every PC: OS version, model, CPU, RAM, disk, TPM status.
Identify which PCs qualify for Windows 11 and which don't.
Back up all important data before any upgrade.
Test upgrade on a small set of machines and verify business apps (especially line-of-business software).
Roll out upgrades in phases during low-impact hours and monitor.
Replace or isolate any devices that can't be safely upgraded.
If you’d like, NetSioux can run a free compatibility check, prepare a backup/upgrade plan, and handle the staging and rollout so your team stays secure with no interruption. Reply to this message or call us at 7122045461 / visit www.netsioux.com to schedule your upgrade check.
Thanks — staying ahead of this now will save headaches and reduce security risk later.
