Did your network equipment survive the stormy weekend?

With the storms rolling through, there's a good chance some of your devices may need some extra attention on Monday morning.

Here's a few things you can try:

1. Check for damage first before you power devices back on.
2. Fully power cycle any devices that are not turning on.
3. Check your UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) and confirm it's still holding a charge to power devices. A drained or failing backup can be a common cause of devices not turning on.

Now is a good time to make sure all of your networking equipment is hooked up to a UPS and the batteries are full. This keeps your networking equipment happy when the power cuts out.
