Yesterday, Control System Labs was proud to support Tech Wars, hosted by Dream It Do It Western New York.

Tech Wars features hands-on STEM competitions for middle and high school students, helping inspire the next generation to explore careers in manufacturing, engineering, and technology.

At our booth, we had the chance to talk with students about industrial electronics repair, troubleshooting, and the technology that keeps manufacturing running. We loved sharing what we do and showing students how important technical careers are to industry and western New York.

A big thank you to Dream It Do It for organizing another great event and for continuing to promote manufacturing and technical education in our community!

❄️ It isn’t every day we get to work on large trucks—but when we do, it’s always fun!

This one came in from a local municipality. Their salt spreader was down in the middle of winter!

After completing the repair, the truck was brought on-site so our technician could reinstall the control, and run a full test.

With the unit repaired, crews were back up and running, helping keep your commute a little smoother. ❄️🛣

Across the U.S., 33 bills in 13 states are working to protect the ability to repair everything from vehicles and farm equipment to medical devices and electronics. Many states are also expanding coverage and closing loopholes.

For us, this matters because our customers depend on fast, reliable repairs to keep critical equipment running. When manufacturers restrict access to parts, tools, or documentation, it means longer downtime, higher costs, and more risk for the businesses and organizations that rely on that equipment.
