New Mexico Tech Automotive Racing Club

New Mexico Tech Automotive Racing Club Meetings are held every week on Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. in Workman 101. Meetings usually last about an hour. Come hang out & talk about cars!

The New Mexico Tech Automotive Racing Club (NMTARC) is a highly energized group of students from New Mexico Tech that share a common interest in cars. Our members enjoy both working on and racing their cars. We apply engineering and technology from the classroom directly to our automotive hobby. NMTARC was founded in January of 2002 to encourage and support members of the New Mexico Tech student b

ody interested in any form of auto racing. Our club participates in racing events across New Mexico and is competitive in both autocross and drag racing. We are currently supported by the NMT Student Association and the hard work of our members. NMTARC is one of the most active student clubs at New Mexico Tech.

It is with a heavy heart that write this post to all NMTARC members. One of our long time members, Robin King, passed away last week at his home in Socorro. Robin was a member who tried to make it to every event that he could, and was always willing to help out with whatever was needed. He will be remembered fondly by all, and will be greatly missed. There are two celebrations of his life planned, one in Albuquerque and one in Socorro. I will attach the details for these events in the first comments, and hope that you can make it out to remember the good times we all had with him.

Hey everyone, we won't be having a meeting tonight because of comedy night, but will be meeting early afternoon tomorrow at the SAC to help setup for carnival stuff. Exact times coming soon!
