I always liked this design of mine for Piper Sonoma. I worked with a great marketing director at Rémy Cointreau in Manhattan. She hired me because we had worked together when I designed work for Banfi Vintners plus I was in Sonoma. The design had life and energy. I drew the sun by hand based on a sun I saw on a woman's blouse. The yellow background has a bright, crackly texture to it. www.brittondesign.com

Patti Britton designed this Galante Kick Ass wine label design years ago. It was just reprinted and bottled at Galante Vineyards in Carmel Valley selling as 2023 Kick Ass Red. Jack Galante always has fun with his back labels. This one starts with the cowboy philosophy quote "You can't reason with a kickin' mule!" The text goes on to "this untamed wine from our Carmel Valley Estate vineyards has the familiar smell of saddle leather and open range cooking....it'll make any trail meal taste fancy." www.brittondesign.com

Going through some of my old wine label images Patti Britton was reminded of this Buehler Vineyards White Zinfandel label I designed in collaboration with John Buehler way back in the day. The "barn" wine label design shows the old barn on the Buehler property that was a “ghost winery" before the days of prohibition. The winery is still using this design. www.brittondesign.com
