If you use MLode for your email it's not just you that's having problems. They have been down all morning and their estimate for restoration of email service is "a few hours or several days." Their "status" page says they're not having any problems at all, but their email server and DNS are both down.

Someone asked me last week how stupid someone would have to be to let ransomware onto their computers...and then actually be dumb enough to not only not have backups, but to pay the ransom. I'm not an expert in stupidity, but apparently Apex HCM is. Not only did it infect their computers, but they let the ransomware encrypt their off-site "disaster recovery" systems! This is why I tell everyone to PHYSICALLY DISCONNECT your backup drive when backups are completed.

The primary concern of the article is how much money is being lost by Apple and individual app developers due to lost app and ad revenue - however, the enterprise certificates are able to install *anything* on your device, including malware and compromised apps like Safari that may tunnel all your "secure" traffic through an evil third party for analysis. Apple should require that each device "enroll" in the enterprise environment before these certificates could be used.
