Josh comes to VITL after a fifteen-year career in technology implementations and application support. He enjoys completing projects that make health care data usable: when health care data is usable by medical professionals, it directly benefits patients. This holiday commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas more than two years after President Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation.

Today we are celebrating freedom and resilience and reflecting on how we can play a role in the ongoing struggle for equality and justice.
