Hey friends! Happy Holidays, and thank you so much for your continued patronage.

I’ll be starting the New Year in a new way; that is, aboard a 45’ sailing vessel in transit, Cape Verde to St.Maarten.

Hoping to return to ARTiPLAQ around the 28th of January, refreshed and ready to do my best work yet.

14 years ago, the Redsox broke the curse and ARTiPLAQ helped fans commemorate that epic event plaq-mounting their favorite Sports Pages. We saved some red edge-foil for the possibility that they might do it again on the 100th anniversary of their 1918 win. Congratulations Red Sox!

And to all you fans: get your newspapers in to us before the red edge foil runs out for good.

One of the last steps in creating an affordable alternative to custom framing is finishing the edges of your ARTiPLAQ wall-hanging. In this video I am feeding the near-finished plaqs into the DES-1 edging machine which cuts a bevel, or chamfer, onto the face of the plaq, and applies a colored (black, white, silver or gold) heat-set foil to the bevelled edge, in one pass per side.
