Save the date for the CATS Annual Meeting- Wednesday, December 3rd at 10am at SCLS! This year we are honored to have NYLA Executive Director AnnaLee Dragon as our guest speaker.

AnnaLee will offer a clear history of ebook legislation in New York State and highlight the current bills NYLA is working to advance. She will also address broader concerns surrounding ebook and electronic collections, along with key considerations for the library community as we plan for the future. Her presentation will be followed by a Q&A and, ideally, a larger group discussion about next steps. Attendees will also have the chance to explore a CCP Solutions product petting zoo featuring their latest technology.

Breakfast will be provided by CCP Solutions, and CEU credits will be awarded.

Join us on November 12th for a guided tour of the Middle Country Public Library’s Innovation Space, a state-of-the-art makerspace that opened in 2022. Designed to foster creativity, learning, and hands-on exploration, the Innovation Space features Prusa and Ultimaker 3D printers, a Carbide 3D Shapeoko CNC Router, an Epilog FusionEdge laser engraver, and the xTool F1 laser engraver. The space also offers sublimation and heat press tools, a variety of crafting and fabrication machines, and a fully equipped media recording studio. CEUs will be awarded. REGISTER HERE:
