A major milestone for connectivity in Allegan County! 🎉

123NET has officially completed the Allegan County Broadband Expansion Project, delivering approximately 1,100 miles of high-speed fiber to around 11,100 grant-funded addresses that were part of the project and giving a total of approximately 17,000 addresses access to 123NET fiber.

This $65 million project is helping connect residents, businesses and communities throughout Allegan County, including many previously unserved and underserved areas.

123NET is proud to partner with Allegan County to build infrastructure that will support economic growth, education, remote work and stronger communities for years to come.

123NET is taking fiber to new depths in Ottawa County!

As part of the 123NET-Ottawa County Broadband Expansion Project, the team recently completed a major step in extending fiber connectivity across the county - drilling approximately 15 feet beneath the Grand River to create a 2,200-foot pathway for new fiber infrastructure. Using horizontal directional drilling, this installation allows us to expand the network while minimizing disruption to the river and surrounding infrastructure.

It’s all part of the approximately 325 miles of new fiber being built throughout Ottawa County, helping bring broadband access to thousands of previously underserved addresses.
