The Discipline Reimagined Journey doesn’t just change one school. It changes an entire region.

DRJ is a cross-sector culture transformation initiative. And it works because it doesn’t ask one organization to carry it alone. Schools, courts, nonprofits, and business leaders in the same geographic area apply together as a cohort. And they co-create solutions for the young people they all share.

So far we’ve built 318 learning labs. Reached 7,400 young people. In three states. This is what it looks like when practitioners stop working in silos and start working together.

Four years. Three states. 7,400 young people redirected.

The Discipline Reimagined Journey and the AdvisingGenz platform partnered with schools, courts, and community programs across Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma from May 2022 to May 2026. Together we built 318 learning labs and issued 1,461 certificates of completion to youth participants.

We’ve compiled all the results into a report. And it’s exciting.

North Texas DRJ Sites showing up and showing out while showing there impact of converting classrooms and courtrooms into learning labs by integrating the AdvisingGenz platform.

This week youth practitioners from Tarrant, Dallas, Grayson, and Titus counties gathered to plan the Young Leaders in Training Career Summit—a first-of-its-kind regional workforce experience for 240 disconnected youth this fall at &Retreats

Huge thank you to Tarrant County College Corporate Solutions for hosting us at Corporate Solutions and to GM Financial for sponsoring this collaboration. When education and juvenile justice practitioners work together, young people win.
