ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assess and resolve any “temporary worker” issues by recruiting the necessary hands to help on heavy shipping days.
Ensure compliance with customers’ needs for documentation.
Assess and resolve any shipment errors, damages on existing shipments.
Respond to any customer questions or requirements regarding customs documentation, shipment tracking, freight terms, etc.
Respond to any in-house questions or requirements concerning general shipment information; box design, delivery documentation, transit times, etc.
Oversee the re-ordering of shipping supplies; boxes, packaging, tape, etc.
Knowledge of UPS, Fed Ex, and Common Carriers (LTL and TL).
Ability to manipulate customer files without loss of file integrity along with file preparation for customer reporting.
The organization and thoroughness to see projects from preparation through tear down.

$100.00 Signing bonus - payable after successful completion of 90 day orientation period.

Job Description

We currently have an opportunities for 2nd shift skilled production people who are energetic and would be willing to perform a variety of hands-on duties including, but not limited to: Loading and unloading product from machinery, product change over, basic maintenance and troubleshooting, cleaning, and other general production duties assigned.

SHIFT

2nd -3:00 PM - 11:00 PM - M-F - Weekends maybe required when work load demands
REQUIREMENTS

Enjoy working in a fast pace, team oriented environment
Manufacturing or any type of equipment operating experience
Mechanical inclination
Printing knowledge a plus
JOB FUNCTIONS (may include but are not limited to)

Follow safety procedures
Maintain product quality at all times
Maintain & improve housekeeping
Printing press set up
Staging Materials and supplies
Machine set up and operation
Cutter operator
Production reporting
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Run production for eight (8) to ten (10) hours a day
Required to do some unassisted lifting of a variety of object ranging from 5 to 50 pounds
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
