We upgraded our printers so we can print and encode UHF RFID labels; adding to store soon. With Walmart and other retailer mandates this has been a common customer request. Also adding offline uhf ending to our next gen reel-reel hardware.

Today we learned what light gamma correction is. Your eye follows a curve of frequency (gamma curve) to allow you to have a high dynamic range so that you can see well both in the day and the night.

Lights such as monitors and LEDs have to correct for this curve so you perceive the frequency as the correct color. An alien without a gamma curve in their eyes would see totally different colors; what they actually are.

Both of these leds are orange, but the one on the left has been gamma corrected.

Custom PCBs arrived finally for the GoToTags NFC/RFID encoder. We now have all the components to manufacture the first batch of units.

You never really know if it's going to work until you hit the "run" button for the first time...

Fired up the GoToTags next generation reel-reel nfc/uhf rfid encoder for the first time. Not fully built yet as you can see from all the holes. Still using our old software. Couple hardware bugs to resolve.

Reliably encoding 2+ tags/sec, which is 50k per day or ~1M tags per month. Need to encode more? Use multiple units; it's designed with that in mind.
