The new way to work with home care aides
A real "aha!" moment for all of us.
When we began working on our new home care scheduling software, called CareWhen, we had a simple plan: Recreate for the web what we already had for the PC.
Then came the aha moment pictured above. Why not communicate with the caregiver directly, since most caregivers already own smart phones?
We checked with a few agency owners and managers like you. They liked the idea instantly, and could see lots of benefit.
• The office staff wouldn't have to phone the caregiver.
• The caregiver could respond back online, eliminating delay.
• The software would maintain an audit trail of all field communications.
• Care delivery could be monitored beyond office hours.
We also checked with some caregivers. Most of them saw online access as a more convenient way of working with the agency. Based on this feedback, we have automated caregiver communication wherever possible.
