Tech Foundry

Tech Foundry Tech Foundry’s mission is to support the region’s growing need for a qualified technology workforce

The Tech Foundry has set out on a mission to turn Western Massachusetts into the technology capital of the Northeast. We will achieve this goal by building one of the most dynamic and fluid training programs ever offered for computer science, one that will allow our students to respond to the job market demands in real time. Working with high schools, colleges, and many volunteers, we train comput

er science professionals and network with local businesses to provide new opportunities for our job-ready graduates. We try to build bridges between established and start-up businesses, alongside public, non-profit, educational institutions by providing our graduates with the tools they need to succeed while facilitating each student to become significant stakeholders in the success of the program and our partners.

He was so far down in his chair that Dr. Marie-Ange Delimon could barely see the top of his head above the table.

She called on him anyway.

He answered sitting upright — with vocabulary the class had spent weeks building together, talking about what he knew with a confidence that was the opposite of his initial slouch.

When he finished, she pointed at where he'd been before he started speaking: The tucked shoulders. The attempt to disappear.

"The training held, and the answer came out of him anyway."

One week to graduation.

Tech was built by people who refused to be invisible.

This Pride Month, we're celebrating the LGBTQIA2S+ innovators who shaped the industry we train people for — from the pioneers who laid the foundations of modern computing, to the leaders running today's biggest tech companies, to the creators building what's next.

Representation isn't a footnote in tech history. It's woven through every layer of it.

At Tech Foundry, we believe the strongest teams are built when everyone has a seat at the table — and a clear path to get there.

Happy Pride. 🏳️‍🌈

Dr. Marie-Ange Delimon has a name for what Tech Foundry does. She calls us the Treasure Finders.

The people who walk into our classroom arrive having spent years in a world that hasn't reflected back who they are. Part of her job is to show them what she sees — and then wait for them to see it too.

Last week, she watched it happen in real time.

She sat in on a job-hunting session with our graduating cohort. Not mandatory — the students asked to be there. One by one, they worked through their elevator pitches, and what she heard were people who knew exactly what they brought to a room, who described their own value with clarity and without apology.

Halfway through, she caught herself thinking about roles we have open at Tech Foundry, and had to remind herself: they aren't interviewing here!

They're just finally starting to see what she's seen in them all along.

Tech Foundry Tech Tip: Website Security

See that little padlock in your browser? That tiny icon is your first line of defense. HTTPS means the connection between you and the website is encrypted—so your data isn't floating around for anyone to grab. No padlock? Think twice before entering any personal info.

Tech Foundry Tech Tip: The Cloud

Imagine losing every photo, document, and file you have. Scary, right? Cloud backup means your stuff lives safely online—even if your device doesn't survive. Most phones and computers have built-in options. Set it up once, and never worry about losing your memories again.

The Class of 2026 graduates June 23rd. Every student crossing that stage found a way to keep showing up through every week that tried to be the last one.

The students who leave don't fail a test. They run out of time. The babysitter falls through. The job demands more hours. Life presses harder.

Dr. Marie-Ange Delimon knows this from the inside. She was a Tech Launch student before she became our director. She almost left three times.

"My reality was not allowing me to continue."

She stayed because someone held the door open long enough. Now that's her job — every single day, for every person in that classroom.

The Class of 2026 graduates June 23rd. The thirty who made it through found a way to keep showing up through every week that tried to be the last one.
