Required experience and skills include: • Demonstrable experience performing full, in-house payroll • Knowledge of month-end closing procedures • Knowledge of year-end closing procedures • Knowledge of financial statement preparation • Knowledge of accrual and cash basis accounting and associated journal entry preparation
Other preferred experience and skills include: • Cost accounting • Multi-state sales tax: knowledge of correct application of sales and use tax as well as preparation of sales tax returns • Payroll tax/unemployment tax • Personal Property Tax Job
