With the arrival of winter comes an increased danger of house fires as we all try to keep our homes warm and cozy.

As the first big winter storm is scheduled to impact Illinois this weekend, bringing heavy snow, ice and artic air, we encourage everyone to prepare to warm their homes safely.

We partnered with Springfield Fire Fighters Local 37 and Ward 5 Alderwoman Lakeisha k Purchase to film a high quality Fire Safety video series covering topics such as fireplaces, smoke detectors and space heaters.
