Building your Dream Business Online
For many years, I have watched clients who think first about cost when building a website, and every time - even when they have spent a lot of time and energy building a beautiful home page - their marketing efforts stop with that initial creation and the business stagnates.
My advice for anyone who is truly serious about building an online business is to think about how to translate your product or service into an offering that can be marketed via blogs and Social Media.
Focus on how you can entertain and educate your potential customers, offering them useful information to help solve their problems. These articles and blog posts can be shared via Social Media, and lead to a more detailed free offering such as digital book or a PDF report, for the low price of signing up for an email list.
Once your leads find themselves enjoying your content, you have an opportunity to offer them a trial offering, or a small product or service, and show them the full extent of your product or service.
