Energized Graphics and the rest of the team at the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives are pleased to welcome Meghan Jenkins as its newest graphic designer. Meghan comes to the AIEC with 13 years of design experience as a freelance designer. She earned a Bachelor of Applied Science from Robert Morris University in Springfield with a concentration in graphic design. In her free time, she enjoys reading, kickboxing, strength training and listening to podcasts. Meghan lives in Pleasant Plains with her husband and two children.

As a Graphic Artist at the AIEC's Energized Graphics, you will be responsible for designing magazine pages, developing impactful branding materials and crafting annual reports. Your creative expertise and technical skills will play an important role in ensuring our members’ visions come to life.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create visually appealing and engaging magazine layouts, ensuring content is presented in an aesthetically pleasing and reader-friendly manner.
• Develop and maintain brand identity materials, including logos, marketing collateral and style guides.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet or exceed expectations.
• Incorporate photography into designs to enhance visual storytelling.
• Design eye-catching annual reports that effectively communicate key information and data.
• Stay current with industry trends and design software/tools to continually improve design quality and techniques.
• Maintain brand consistency across all design projects.
• Assist in the preparation of design concepts, mock-ups and presentations for client meetings.

We welcome Kayla Adkins as the Creative Services Coordinator for Energized Graphics. She lives in Hillsboro with her husband Will and a corgi named Rhys. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a Master of Arts in communications from Southern New Hampshire University. She previously worked for Christian Retreats Network in Carlinville as its content marketing coordinator. Adkins will provide marketing and design services for Energized Graphics as well as writing for Illinois Country Living.
