Geek Web Designs was founded in February 2000. Was open till 2008. Was a part time business. When pandemic hit, I was laid off from full time job for 30 years. My background as a web designer. In 1995 when window 95 came out I bought my first computer. My nephew who was living with me had an internship learning and doing html at 16 years old. I became interested which he hated. Cause I bugged his friends with questions. Mostly cause all his friends were computer geeks. Had to wait till he was out of the room. I was so excited and fell in love with web design. When Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop came out, I quickly got them and to my surprise someone wanted to have me build a site. And pay me! I started learning o my own. No web developer programs existed at the time. So, I did html in raw code in notepad. When I saw a cool website, I viewed source so I could see code. I dissected it till I got it right. I constantly asked his friends questions. I set up a web design business and did very well for a side gig. I was working full time for Hyatt as a room service waiter. Which is an awesome place to work. Spend 30+ years till pandemic. I have retied and am excited to building a new business. I have always played with web design as a hobby keeping up to date, Now I am back. I have skills. Most of business is word of mouth. So, when complete and you like tell your friends
