Sometimes simplicity is the best way to display luxury. This brand and web project wasn’t about reinventing Moritz Reusch Jewelry - it was about refining their existing aesthetic and making the experience ultra clear for their target audience.

The interesting thing about a fine jewelry audience is that it’s two totally different types of people - a girl who has been dreaming, shopping, and saving rings for a long time and a guy who has very little experience in how to create the perfect ring for his future bride.

We bridged the gap between the two by offering trust cues: quality imagery and a refined aesthetic for her + heritage brand feel and clear messaging for him. What do you all think of their updated brand identity?

A few more views of the 🏡 Olive + Opal Interiors | Home Staging & Interior Design rebrand. The majority of staging brands are using a black and white color palette for their brand (and I get it. It’s easy and it doesn’t conflict with any of your photos.) But let’s be honest. Is there anything inviting about a colorless home? This brand still falls into neutral color territory. Think leather couches, warm wood floors, and grey-blue Persian rugs. Having this mix of colors actually allows their designs to shine even more than they did before.

I am officially months behind on posting new work. Grateful to be so busy! (And also, there’s something about taking a social media break that is so refreshing.)

Putting this rebrand together for Melinda, Anna, and the Olive + Opal team was genuinely SO much fun. They are truly the secret sauce of getting the most money out of a home sale because their design approach is so thoughtfully tailored to each home.

We focused on layering in that same thoughtfulness into the brand: an inviting, upscale color palette, hand drawn icons, Persian-rug inspired pattern, and gorgeous custom lettering for their logo.

Their brand now presents itself with clarity, warmth, and intention so that clients trust them to do the same for their home.

And, yes, their website got a huge revamp as well - will post more on that soon!

This just in: THE RENSING TEAM | St. Louis Real Estate Professionals brand has arrived.

This brand is designed to break the outdated assumptions of what a realtors are all about. They are both a trusted advisor and a strategic advantage - connected enough to influence the room and intentional enough to influence the outcome.

I do design brands but my clients receive a whole lot more than just brand design.

I help founders discover what makes their business truly unique and then we form the brand to always point to that unique feature.

I help them create structure for their products or services so that it’s super clear. Everything fits nicely into a category , we knock out any unnecessary industry jargon, and make complicated offers seem simple.

Build marketing tools (like loyalty programs & client perks) into the brand’s foundation so they never feel like an afterthought. Often times these branded marketing tools are what people remember about your business - not the logo.

Create consistency for the brand both visually and through the voice/messaging. Your brand can’t look one way and say something completely different. They need to partner together , not fight each other.

Offer ongoing support for brands as they continue to grow and evolve. Once you’re one of my brand clients, I will fit you in for whatever type of projects you need in the future (big or small). This isn’t something you have to do but it’s nice to have a graphic designer in your corner when you need it.

If your leads depend on how much you post, how much you share, and how visible you are…

You don’t have a brand. You have a content cycle that needs constant attention.

You are essentially the product. But service-based businesses don’t grow from visibility alone.

There is a difference between being visible and being booked. So instead of asking yourself, “How can I show up more?” Ask yourself “How can my brand do more of the work?”

This means establishing a brand architecture, brand voice, messaging guidelines, visual system, website strategy, and content plan.

These things build trust, clarity, and conversion that does not require your face.

I know you’ve seen posts about having AI design your branding. I urge you to reconsider. Humans respond to human design - imperfections and all.

A few reminders for biz owners in April:

1. You can feel both inspired and overwhelmed.

Spring can bring a lot of new ideas but also a lot of deadlines. The two are not mutually exclusive. Don’t ignore those new ideas - you may finally be able to act on them in a few months.

2. A summer shift can take the pressure off.

If you have kids home in the summer (like me), you know how difficult it is to maintain the same exact schedule. Try implementing a summer shift - shorter hours, Fridays off, or focused early-mornings so that you and your kids know there’s time for play.

3. Communicating with clients is about to get a bit slower.

What can you implement now so that you don’t have lulls while people are traveling? In my studio, it makes sense to add on a few more clients and generally give a longer timeline to account for those delays.
