So everyone, I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart and a level of vulnerability I never thought I’d have to share. Recently, my life has been turned upside down by a serious crisis with my spine.  I had a very horrible weekend riding an ambulances and being transferred back-and-forth to hospitals. Doctors have discovered hemorrhages in my thoracic spine T6 and T7. I am now awaiting on a Spinal doctor to call me. They are small hemorrhages, but they have to be corrected soon. The impact has been devastating. I am currently unable to walk more than a few steps, I’ve had to rely on a Foley catheter because my body “Bladder”is failing to function on its own, because the nerves are being affected. I did find out that the bundle of nerves in the lower SPINE are OK that they’re going to do another test with me doing a standup MRI to see what gravity is doing to the nerves in my lower back.
I am in constant, immense pain. My days and nights are consumed by muscle spasms that keep me from sleeping, and even the strongest medications are no longer providing relief. I am facing spinal surgery, but in the meantime, I am fighting just to get through each hour. My little tater has not left my side because she knows I’m not feeling well.
I have started a GoFundMe because I desperately need a specialized medical massage chair. This isn't a luxury, it is a necessity for pain relief right now. This specific chair provides the heat and air compression and deep massage to the lower back and hips…my muscles need to stop spasming, and it is the only place I will be able to safely sleep and even work as I try to maintain some sense of normalcy. The zero gravity affect that this chair has will be an immense help to me.
I cannot stand long enough to cook, I am also raising funds to stock my freezer with simple, microwaveable meals. I am currently facing this with very little help at home, and I am at my breaking point. My goal is set to cover the cost of the chair and basic nutrition while I prepare for surgery. If you can find it in your heart to donate, even the smallest amount, it would be a literal godsend. If you aren’t able to give, please consider sharing this post. A share could be the reason this reaches the person who can help me get this chair by next week. I just want to be able to sleep. I just want to be able to breathe through the pain. I’m going through so many things that I just can’t put it all together into words. Please, if you can help me. I was doing a little bit of math and I would do the same thing if somebody needed my help. I’m not eating right and I’m losing weight pretty quick. I need to eat to be able to heal and to be able to have the strength to do the things I need to do.
