Flora Place House Histories Introduction
After examining various old Flora Place files in early 2022, the CID Board concluded that these and other files should be digitized and conserved. Initial funding was approved to start the process of creating a database with the title “Flora Place House Histories”. • Various vendors that specialize in digitizing documents were examined and, in May 2023, a firm named Data Dash, Inc (DDI) was selected to perform the work.
DDI was able to capture a digital image of each 35 mm slide. • Notes on the database: o Organized by block and house number. o For each house, the 1977 picture is first, the Book of St Louisans profile if available next; then random old real estate listings (1950s to 1980s), followed by hand-written notes, typed house profiles and other notes where available.

Data Dash a small business in Farmington, MO is seeking to add a Data Entry Lead Operator to our team! 1st shift (no weekends) and opportunity for rapid advancement. To get hired, you need to key 8,500+ KSPH or at least 45 WPM with 1% or less error rate and pass a background check.

• Prepare and sort documents for data entry
• Create and maintain logs for tracking purposes
• Review and enter data updates in the systems
• Review discrepancies in data received
• Advise supervisor of issues related to data
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in data entry or other related fields
• Excellent typing skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
