We are taking the e-waste conversation into more classrooms and expanding the impact of Project 9–12.

As we prepare for Project 9–12, we took the e-waste conversation to Victokev Schools, Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria engaging students on the importance of responsible e-waste management, environmental sustainability, and the circular economy.

The goal is simple: create awareness, inspire action, and empower the next generation to make more sustainable choices.

And this is only the beginning!

October 7, 2026 — Project 9–12 is happening!

Join Just Used Tech in driving awareness around e-waste, environmental sustainability, and the circular economy.

Interested in supporting Project 9–12 as a sponsor or partner? We’d love to hear from you.

On August 15th, our Tech Summer Camp took place at Thomas Dunn Learning Center which brought young people together for a hands-on experience in ethical AI, computer hardware, repairs, and refurbishment.

Facilitated by Gospel Ajibade, the session gave participants the opportunity to learn by doing, explore technology from a practical perspective, and gain skills they can build on.

And the best part? Participants got to walk away with devices they could continue learning and creating with.

From learning how technology works to understanding how old devices can be given new life, it was a day of skills, creativity, and opportunity.

Cheers to our Founder, Titobi Oreolorun, for the vision, dedication, and effort that went into bringing this together.

And a big thank you to our amazing partners and staff for the hard work, teamwork, and commitment that made it all possible.

Here’s to creating more opportunities and making greater impact through technology.

Just Used Tech Delivers Two-Day E-Waste Awareness Session with Heroes Dreams Alive Foundation

"You can be one of the change makers of circular economy." These were the words of Just Used Tech's Founder and CEO, Titobi Oreolorun, as he addressed students during a two-day virtual e-waste awareness engagement with Heroes Dreams Alive Foundation, held for 26 students of the Kids Tech Bootcamp 1.0, Kwara State.

Facilitated by Olumide Kolawole, Lagos State Coordinator, and Daniel Yashim, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer at Just Used Tech, and hosted by Mr. Temilade Adepegba of Heroes Dreams Alive Foundation, the first session introduced students to the fundamentals of electronic waste, its impact on public health and the environment, and the importance of responsible disposal. The second session went further into circular economy principles and environmental sustainability, drawing a clear line between linear systems that waste resources and circular systems that reuse and extend the life of products.

Students learned that improperly discarded electronics leach harmful chemicals into the soil and water, contributing to pollution, biodiversity loss, and climate change.

The students had a highly interactive and gamified session with our founder who placed emphasis on the fact that there's a responsible way to start recycling e-waste, challenging them to become eco-champions who guide their families and communities toward donating, repairing, and choosing refurbished devices instead of throwing them away in bins or selling the devices to informal scrap dealers.

Just Used Tech appreciates Heroes Dreams Alive Foundation for the opportunity to be part of its Kids Tech Bootcamp 1.0 and for its continued collaboration in advancing environmental education for young people.

Behind every impact made is someone who chose to show up.

At Just Used Tech, our work is made possible by people who care enough to take action.

From our volunteers who give their time, energy and effort, to our staff who work behind the scenes and on the field, every person plays a part in the work we do.

They visit schools to raise awareness about e-waste and the circular economy. They collect and refurbish used devices. They create opportunities for people to learn new skills. They show up in communities and help turn ideas into action.

Today, on World Humanitarian Day, we celebrate the people behind the work.

These are people who give their time and skills to create meaningful change in the society. This is what humanity in action looks like. We are not giving up, we continue to create the change we want to see in the world.

Happy World Humanitarian Day.

Tomorrow, we are taking the message of sustainability to Victokev School, Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria, as we continue our outreach to raise awareness about e-waste and the circular economy.

As we mark World Humanitarian Day, we celebrate everyone who chooses to act for humanity: our volunteers, staff members and every person giving their time, energy and skills to make a difference.

To the humanitarians working behind the scenes and on the field: thank you. Your efforts matter. Every school visited, every young person reached, every device given a second life, and every lesson shared is a step towards a better and more sustainable future.

We keep showing up, doing the work and acting for humanity.
