At the 3rd Annual Recyclers Conference organized by the Recyclers Association of Nigeria (RAN), one message stood out clearly:
Waste is not waste, it is stored value.
As an organization committed to sustainability, digital inclusion, and responsible technology use, Just Used Tech was proud to participate in conversations shaping the future of recycling and circular economy systems in Nigeria.
With the theme:
“Smart Recycling Frontiers: Integrating Technology, Intelligence, and Innovation for a Greener Planet,” the conference brought together policymakers, industry leaders, environmental advocates, and innovators to explore how technology can transform waste management and recycling systems.
From conversations around automation and intelligent waste systems to discussions on circular economy opportunities and the growing need for stronger waste management structures, the event reinforced something we strongly believe:
Technology and sustainability must work hand in hand.
The conference also created opportunities for strategic engagement with key government and industry stakeholders on the future of e-waste, partnerships, climate action, and digital inclusion in Nigeria.
At Just Used Tech, we remain committed to:
Reducing e-waste
Promoting a circular economy
Expanding digital access
Giving devices a second life and people a better opportunity at theirs
We believe the future of sustainability will require collaboration, innovation, and intentional action across sectors.
This is bigger than recycling.
It is about building systems that create environmental impact, economic opportunity, and a more sustainable future for all.
The conversations have started.
Now, the work continues.
