We've got some brave volunteers willing to take a pie to the face for a good cause!

🥧 Mitch Blyler – Rotary Club of Camden County, GA (Wee Read)
🥧 Tyler Logan – Deep Dive Games Warhammer Team

And I'll be joining them! Remember, we're giving a special prize to whoever gets pied the most!

❤️ A LITTLE ABOUT OUR FUNDRAISING

So far, we've received approximately $550 in donations, with another $450 pledged by local businesses and supporters. We've spent approximately $935 on insurance, advertising, promotional materials, and event supplies, with a few expenses still ahead of us.

Last year, we raised enough to make donations to both Camden House and the St. Marys Police Department K-9 program, but Deep Dive Games actually lost money hosting the event.

And that's completely fine! It was an incredible night for our community, and we wouldn't trade that experience for anything.

However, if we're going to continue hosting this event and growing it year after year, we want to build something sustainable. Our goal is to cover the cost of hosting the event through sponsorships and donations, with every dollar remaining after event expenses going directly to Camden House.

More importantly, Deep Dive Games is personally committing to a minimum donation of $500 to Camden House this year, regardless of whether the event breaks even. If we lose money again, we'll cover the difference ourselves.

We also believe that community fundraising deserves transparency. After the event, we'll publish a full breakdown of the donations received, expenses incurred, and the final amount donated to Camden House.

We want this event to grow into something our community can look forward to every Halloween, and we're grateful to everyone helping us make that possible.

We'll keep adding names and recognizing our supporters every day leading up to the event!

🎃 TRUNK OR TREAT UPDATE: JUST ONE WEEK TO GO! 🎃

We're just one week away from **Deep Dive Games' Trunk or Treat for Camden House**, and things are really coming together!

Thanks to the generosity of our local businesses, organizations, and community members, we've already reserved 19 parking spaces for decorated trunks and participants! That's a great start, and we're hoping to welcome plenty more over this final week.

With Halloween right around the corner, we're making one last big push for decorated trunks, volunteers, candy donations, and a few brave souls willing to take a pie to the face for a good cause!

👏 **FIRST, LET'S THANK OUR NEWEST SPONSORS!**

We're incredibly grateful to welcome:

🎃 Saltmeadow Wellness

🎃 Come As You Are Recovery

🎃 Coastal Community Behavioral Health

🎃 Century 21 Crest Realty

🎃 TaylorMade Roofing, INC

And another huge thank you to the wonderful sponsors who helped us get started:

💙 Albert's Jewelers

💙 Amanda Moore for City Council • St. Marys, GA

💙 Kraken Coffee & Kitchen Co.

💙 The Firefly

💙 Rotary Club of Camden County, GA (Wee Read)

Every one of these organizations has stepped up to help make this event possible, and we're proud to have their support!

🎃 **HERE'S WHERE WE STAND AND WHAT WE STILL NEED!**

🚗 19 SPACES RESERVED! We still have plenty of room for more decorated trunks! Businesses, organizations, families, and individuals are all welcome.

🙋 EVENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We could use some helping hands to run games, coordinate activities, distribute candy, and keep things running smoothly throughout the evening.

🍬 CANDY DONATIONS NEEDED! We're working to provide candy for our participating trunks so they can focus on decorating and entertaining the kids. Donations must be unopened, factory-sealed bags of individually wrapped candy within their labeled freshness dates.

🥧 OUR PIE-THROWING LIST IS LOOKING A LITTLE LONELY!

I volunteered to take the first pie to the face, but apparently nobody else wants to join me! 😂

We're looking for business owners, educators, community leaders, public servants, and anyone else willing to take a pie to the face for a good cause!

Attendees will be able to donate to throw a pie at the volunteer of their choice, and we'll have a special prize for whoever gets pied the most throughout the evening! 🏆

Come on, Camden County. Surely I'm not the only one willing to get covered in whipped cream for charity!

❤️ ONE IMPORTANT REMINDER

All suggested donations for reserving a trunk are completely voluntary. We understand that budgets are tight, and we don't want money to prevent anyone from participating.

Our priority is putting together an incredible, free Halloween event for our families while raising money to support Camden House.

📅 **Friday, October 30 | 5–9 PM**

📍 **Deep Dive Games – St. Marys | 2603 Osborne Rd.**

🎶 Live music from Full Moon Folk, decorated trunks, carnival games, costume contests, and more!

Sensory-friendly trunk-or-treating begins at 5 PM, with general festivities following at 5:30 PM.

🎃 **TRUNK OR TREAT UPDATE: OUR COMMUNITY IS STEPPING UP!** 🎃

Over the last two days, I've been going door to door visiting local businesses throughout St. Marys and Kingsland, looking for people willing to help make Deep Dive Games' Trunk or Treat for Camden House an event worth remembering.

I have to say, the conversations I've had have been incredible. The kindness, enthusiasm, and willingness to help that I've encountered are a wonderful reminder of why we're so proud to be part of this community.

Our goal is to create a completely free Halloween celebration for local families while raising money to support Camden House and the important work they do for survivors of domestic violence and their families.

And thanks to some wonderful people, we're already making progress!

👏 **PLEASE HELP US THANK OUR FIRST SPONSORS!**

🌟 **SUPPORTING SPONSORS**

A special thank you to these supporters for their generous commitment to making this event possible!

🎃 Amanda Moore for City Council

🎃 The Firefly Taco Cantina

💙 **COMMUNITY SPONSORS**

We're incredibly grateful to these local businesses and organizations for investing in our community!

🎃 Albert's Jewelers

🎃 Rotary Club of Camden County, GA

🤝 **COMMUNITY PARTNER**

A big thank you to Kraken Coffee for contributing to the event and helping us create something special for local families!

🎃 Kraken Coffee

Every contribution matters, and we appreciate everyone who has offered their money, time, supplies, or talents to help.

📅 **FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30 | 5–9 PM**

📍 **Deep Dive Games – St. Marys | 2603 Osborne Rd.**

We're planning decorated trunks, carnival games, costume contests, a scavenger hunt, and live music from **Full Moon Folk (6–8 PM)**!

We'll also have a sensory-friendly trunk-or-treat period from 5:00–5:30 PM for children who benefit from a quieter, lower-stimulation environment.

🎃 **WE STILL NEED TRUNKS, SPONSORS & VOLUNTEERS!**

We have plenty of spaces available for businesses, organizations, families, and individuals who want to decorate a trunk. We're also looking for volunteers, candy donations, prizes, and supplies.

**All donation amounts are recommendations, not requirements.** We understand that budgets are tight right now, and we don't want the request for a donation to prevent anyone from participating. Our priority is putting together a great event for our families and communities.

If you're willing to decorate a trunk and spend your evening helping make Halloween special for local children, that's already a meaningful contribution!

🍬 **CANDY DONATIONS ARE WELCOME!**

To help us safely and efficiently distribute candy to hundreds of children, we're accepting unopened, factory-sealed bags of individually wrapped candy that are within their labeled freshness dates.

All donations will be inspected before distribution, and any candy that doesn't meet these standards will be respectfully declined.

🥧 **WHO WANTS TO TAKE A PIE TO THE FACE FOR A GOOD CAUSE?**

We're planning a charity pie throwing booth where attendees can make a donation, choose a name from our list of willing volunteers, and take their best shot!

We're looking for recognizable faces throughout Camden County: business owners, educators, public servants, community leaders, and anyone else willing to have a little fun at their own expense.

And since I wouldn't ask anyone to do something I wouldn't do myself...

**Braden Spencer, CEO of Deep Dive Games, will be the first name on the list!** 😂🥧

🏆 **We'll also have a special prize for whoever gets pied the most throughout the evening!**

Now, who else is brave enough to join me?

**WANT TO GET INVOLVED?**

🎃 Comment 🎃 if you'd like to decorate a trunk!

🥧 Comment 🥧 if you'd like to volunteer for the pie booth!

👀 Know someone who would make a great pie-throwing volunteer? Tag them below!

Have a great idea for a carnival game? Comment below!

I'll be posting updates every couple of days as more sponsors, trunks, volunteers, and activities are confirmed. We want everyone to see how our community is coming together to make this event happen!

📧 **[email protected]**

📱 **Call or text: 740-416-6861**

Or message us right here on Facebook!

Thank you again to everyone who's already stepped up to help. We're excited to see what we can accomplish together.

**Let's make this a Halloween to remember, Camden County!** 🎃
