We were honored to receive a shoutout from the Park Center for Independent Media during its annual Izzy Award ceremony last night. The Izzy Award was established 18 years ago to honor independent journalism, and its namesake is the late, legendary journalist I. F. Stone. Deena Warner Design recently redesigned ifstone.org, which we first launched in 2007 in cooperation with Stone's son Jeremy Stone.
The website is a great resource for historians, as it contains the complete archive of the I. F. Stone's Weekly, a seminal muckraking publication from 1952-1971. In addition to the Weekly, Stone wrote a dozen books and has inspired countless journalists to pursue the truth wherever they can find it.
