We recently repaired a Mercedes 722.9 TCU connecting plate featuring a delicate broken copper flex cable with integrated sensor connections at location Y3/8s1 and connector 11.

Since the flex cable is extremely fragile and sensitive, this repair required precision soldering.

After a successful repair, we performed electrical continuity testing across the repaired connections to verify the repair.

The system had an AMD Radeon RX 6800 16GB GPU, but the issue wasn’t the game or Windows. Our diagnostics found the GPU hotspot temperature was reaching 110°C, causing overheating and system instability.

Instead of replacing an expensive graphics card, we repaired the issue, improved cooling performance, and completed stress testing.
