Those of you who use Quickbooks (and these days, who doesn't !) Please be aware, one of our clients just got a call from someone claiming to be with Quickbooks. They stated that our clients account updates are showing as pending and how their data would not upload properly unless they fixed the issue. Of course they wanted to help with the process which would have involved them getting remote access to our clients computer and network.

Fortunately, we have trained our client to be aware of such schemes. They did not allow the scammer to "help" them!!

Please don't fall for these type of scams ! If you have questions, we are here to help, just give us a call.

🚨 SCAM ALERT – PLEASE SHARE 🚨

Phone scams are on the rise throughout Berrien County!

Scammers are calling residents and pretending to be law enforcement, including using the names of actual deputies—today they used Deputy Simmons, but they’ve also used other deputies' names and even Sheriff Heit's name.

They claim you have a warrant for things like:

⚠️ Failure to register as a s*x offender

⚠️ Not showing up for jury duty

⚠️ THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. ⚠️
We will NEVER call you to tell you that you have a warrant.
If you have a warrant, we will come to your house.

These scammers are extremely convincing. If you’re ever unsure, hang up immediately and call the Berrien County Sheriff's Office directly at 269-983-7111 to verify.

❌ NEVER give out personal information or send money over the phone.
❗ If it sounds too good—or too scary—to be true, it probably is.

Please share this message widely, especially with older adults and those who may not be on Facebook. These scammers are targeting everyone, and we want to keep our community safe.

We have been made aware that someone is "spoofing" our phone number (269-429-9664). We NEVER make cold calls to anyone, especially to areas beyond SW Michigan. If you received a call and are not in our service area, please hang up on the caller. These are just scammers trying to make an easy buck.
