🌐 Having WiFi issues?
Here’s how to troubleshoot before you call us!
First, take a look at your ONT (the small white box where your fiber connects). If you see 3 green lights with only one blinking, you’re good — that means your fiber internet is reaching the ONT just fine. The issue is somewhere between the ONT and your WiFi router.

Here’s what to try, in order:
1️⃣ Reboot your WiFi router
Unplug it from the wall, wait about a minute, then plug it back in. Give it up to 5 minutes to fully come back online before testing your connection.
2️⃣ Check your ethernet cable
Make sure the cable running from your ONT to your router is firmly plugged in on both ends and seated in the correct ports. A loose cable is a surprisingly common culprit!
3️⃣ Update your router’s firmware
If your WiFi is still acting up — dropping out, slowing down, or behaving inconsistently — your router may just need a firmware update. Log into your router’s settings (usually through a web browser or its app) and check for any available updates under the settings or administration menu.

Still stuck after all that? Give us a call — we’re always happy to help! 📞

Accident in front of the Mill Village store will require utility pole replacement. Currently all Fibercast services are working however as the work being performed there may be further damage to our fiber cable and services may be impacted (only north of the accident area).
Power outage may also be expected.
We will keep you updated here on our page.

⚠️ATTENTION FIBERCAST CUSTOMERS ⚠️

We are aware of the approaching winter storm. As the incoming storm approaches, forecasts are calling for significant icing in parts of our service area, with up to about half an inch of ice possible in some locations. Our team will be actively monitoring the FiberCast network throughout the event.

Please note that most storm-related service issues typically come from:
• Trees and branches taking down lines
• Vehicles striking utility poles
• Widespread power outages impacting equipment

In these situations, the order of work is very important for everyone’s safety and is as follows:
1. Police, fire, and emergency crews first make the scene safe.
2. The electric utility then restores power and clears hazards on their infrastructure.
3. Once they give us the all-clear, FiberCast crews can access the area and perform repairs to restore internet service.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during severe weather. We hope everyone stays safe during the storm and avoids any downed wires, poles, or damaged equipment.
