As preparations are being made to celebrate 30 years of business next month, I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Stephen Weindorff and I am the Owner/President of ALTIS Computer Services, Inc. But more important than titles, I am a technician by trade, graduate of DeVry Institute of Technology. Every single aspect of ALTIS operations are directly managed and monitored by me.
While reflecting on the past 3 decades, one thing is perfectly clear to me. Customers are vital to my business. Without the unwavering support of local customers supporting a small but effective local company like ALTIS, we would not have been able to withstand the test of time. Not only are we still thriving 30 years since our conception in 1996, but we are continuing to grow and expand our reach of cutting edge technology and solutions to serve the needs of our local communities.
Soon, I will be meeting with a very special individual that one day 30 years ago made contact with me. That simple, short phone call would forever change my life and the trajectory of my career forever. Although we are still working out the details of our interview, I believe you will find the forthcoming chain of events very interesting. Here is a small hint of what is coming. Sometimes getting terrible news ends up being the greatest event of a lifetime.
