If your combo amp's speaker cabinet is terrific but its solid-state amplifier is so-so, you can add a "speaker-input" jack to connect an external amp to the combo speakers. Plus, when no external amp is plugged in, the combo amp works normally.

Here's a handy chart of the General MIDI Drum Sounds. MIDI Note # 60 is "middle C" – the 4th C note (C4) from the left hand side of an 88-key piano, and also the note in the middle of the grand staff. But on shorter keyboards, middle C can be at C2 or C3. Whatever, middle C is the key that plays the "Bongo Hi" sound. If it's not C3, you can edit this chart's octave numbers. 🎹🪇🥁
