Spectrum 10 Wireless is a rapidly growing leader in the telecommunications industry offering top quality telecommunication services for our clients. As a Tower Technician, you will be working in a team environment assisting with structural projects, which may include new builds, and technology upgrades. Daily activities may include on-site installation, repair, and modification. You will be gaining knowledge in effective tool utilization, technology, and other resources to install mounts, antennas, grounding, and/or structure inspections.
In collaboration with the tower technician position, key responsibilities include:
Must be able to work at heights, with abilities to become efficient and keeping safety as a top priority.
· Perform all work in accordance with OSHA, company, and customer safety policies/best practices.
· Ability to interpret and implement the requirements of the CDs/RFDSs to the other team members on a project.
· Assemble components required to build a project such as RRUs, antennas, steel mounts, and other material.
· Complete all required closeouts including paperwork, photos, VQA, Etc.
· Safely use hand and power tools.
· Use of test equipment for electrical, RF, and fiber optics.
· Ability to identify material and needs to complete a project.
· Completing quality work in a safe and efficient manner.
Candidate requirements:
· Have or capable of completing all required training such as climbing and rescue, rigging, CPR/first aid, RF Awareness, OSHA 10/30, etc.
· Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and health physical.
· Have a current valid driver’s license, clean driving record and a reliable source of transportation.
· Ability to travel for extended periods of time and work extended hours (nights and weekends) to meet demands of customers.
· Work in less than favorable weather conditions such as hot and/or frigid temperatures.
· Ability to lift items that weigh up to 80lbs.
· Punctuality is required.
